Deschutes Foray Belgian Style IPA

This 6.4% ABV Belgian-style IPA is from the Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon on the banks of the Deschutes River and is part of their Bond Street Series.

The beer pours yellow, golden, just a touch of haziness. There is a tall, bubbling, raggedly foamy white head. The aroma is earthy, dank, bright, citrusy, tart, over soda cracker malt. The taste is bright, citrusy, yeasty, passion fruit, apples, pears, white wine, with light crackery malt and just a bit of dankness on the end. It drinks light, easy, refreshing, with a moderate bitterness on the finish. This is one tasty and interesting beer, definitely pick it up if you see it.
