5 Rabbit Gringolandia Fabulosa Porter

This 5.5% ABV porter is from 5 Rabbit Cerveceria of Bedford Park, Illinois. The beer pours an extremely dark brown, appearing black except when held to the light. There is a relatively short head of light brown foam. The aroma is dark roasted malt, mocha, milk chocolate, vanilla, lightly sweet. The taste is very dark roasted malt, lots of char, but with a very light body, light vanilla and some mocha chocolate. The finish is dry and moderately bitter. Great flavor, but the body is too light and watery to hold it up. It has a soft mouthfeel, wish it was creamier, with a light and tingling carbonation.
