Boulevard The Calling IPA

This 8.5% ABV India Pale Ale is a new year round release from the Smokestack Series of Boulevard Brewing of Kansas City, Missouri.

The beer pours a lightly hazed golden yellow with apricot tint. There is a half-inch of dense, white, foamy head that leaves light rings of sticky lacing down the glass. The aroma is very ripe melons, mango skin, passion fruit, with some dankness. The taste follows the aromas, but dankness and pine are higher in the taste. The finish is strongly bitter. The beer has a fine tingling carbonation and smooth body.
