Three Floyds Quaanto 219

This is a monster triple imperial pale ale with 12.5% ABV and 100 IBU's from 3 Floyds. The Three Floyds Brewing Company is in Munster, Indiana. "It's Not Normal."

The beer pours a hazy dried apricot and orange in color. There is not quite an inch of white foamy head. The aroma is big and juicy, citrus, orange, guava, passion fruit, and apricot, with the earthy note of tropical fruit skins. The taste is massive, following the same notes as the aromas. There is sweetness, but the finish is dry, with a light bitterness. The beer drinks full and round, with a touch of spicy heat from the alcohol. This beer is really something!
